ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is one of the most widely used 3D printer filaments on the market, and for good reason. Our ABS is a premium mix specially formulated for 3D printing. It has excellent mechanical properties and printability, giving this material’s parts durability and a less brittle quality than other similar polymers.

Properties

Mechanical properties	ABS is hard and tough, with good impact strength and surface quality.
Chemical resistance	ABS has basic resistance to acids, alkalis, and alcohols.
Temperature range	ABS can be used in temperatures ranging from -20–80°C.
Recyclability	ABS is recyclable.
Surface	ABS models have a matte surface and colors that are less saturated than PLA models.
UV resistance	ABS is not UV resistant and should not be exposed to sunlight.
Warping	ABS is prone to warping and cracking at the edges, so a heat bed is recommended.
Fumes	ABS releases fumes when heated, so the print area should be well ventilated.
Storage	ABS should be stored in a dry, dark place in an airtight bag with a desiccant at 0–40°C.
Heat resistance	ABS is the most heat-resistant of the three major low-cost 3D printing filaments.
