Strength	PLA is a relatively strong material with a tensile strength of 37–47.8 MPa and a flexural strength of 85 MPa.
Stiffness	PLA is very stiff and brittle, with low flexibility.
Melting point	PLA has a low melting point of around 145 °C, making it suitable for 3D printing.
Dimensional stability	PLA is not prone to warping, so it can be used to print large parts close to the 3D model dimensions.
Chemical resistance	PLA is chemical-resistant and not soluble in solvents like acetone or isopropyl alcohol.
Biocompatibility	PLA is biocompatible and degrades into lactic acid, a compound our bodies naturally produce.
